But the world’s richest female musician, Rihanna proved she still appreciates a good deal as she was seen shopping for baby clothes at a Target store in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 15.
The 33-year-old singer is currently expecting her first child with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky, also 33. She recently revealed that she’s in her third trimester.
Onlookers are said have to witnessed Rihanna place a small orange dress in her shopping cart, prompting speculation that she is expecting a baby girl.
According to Target.com, the Cat & Jack dress that caught Rihanna’s eye retails for just $18.
But ever-careful of prying eyes, the mother-to-be was also captured checking out a wall of unisex baby socks and onesies.
Rihanna scoured the aisles of the popular department store in a powder blue hooded sweatshirt that concealed her baby bump.
The vibrant hoodie featured a colorful depiction of a city skyline with ‘Living the dream’ written overtop.
The Umbrella songstress showcased her legs in a sparkly faux leather mini skirt and a pair of metallic purple heels that wrapped around her ankle.
Rihanna’s raven hair was styled in a high ponytail with pieces in the front left out to frame her face.
She sported a full face of glowy makeup and accessorized with a pair of rhinestone chandelier earrings.
She toted her belongings in a purple velvet handbag, as well as a bright red Target shopping cart.
Rihanna brought along her close pal and model Sita Abellan, who she would later grab dinner with at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
Rihanna recently opened up about her pregnancy and motherhood while launching her Fenty Beauty line at ULTA Beauty.
She told Elle she’s in the ‘where you wake up and you’re like, oh, do I have to get dressed?’ stage.
She explained, ‘Everything is a challenge, from getting dressed and how you’re going to do your makeup. But I like challenges.’
Rihanna, who is expecting her firstborn child with her boyfriend A$AP Rocky, dished: ‘There’s a pregnancy glow. There’s also those days, girl.’
The Umbrella singer added, ‘Especially in the third trimester, makeup for sure helps you feel like a real person. I just focused a lot on moisturizing and on contouring.’
She reflected: ‘The face gets a little round and chubby. The nose starts to spread. Everything is a challenge, from getting dressed and how you’re going to do your makeup. But I like challenges.
‘I like things that force me to be creative and create in new ways. And with beauty, there’s so much that you can do.’
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky became romantically linked in 2020 after seven years of friendship.
