President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 paid a visit to Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, former Governor of the Central Bank Of Nigeria and current Emir of Kano.
It would be recalled that the pair lost love in 2014 , when President Jonathan suspended Sanusi as CBN Governor, which saw both sides heading for the court room before the Emir assumed his throne.
Since the episode, the two men have met a couple of times, with the visit of President Jonathan directed at strengthening their rekindled relationship.
President Jonathan’s visit to the Emir preceded his re-election campaign rally held in Kano.
