Queen Elizabeth of England on Friday, October 24, 2014 made history as she sent her first message using popular social media platform, Twitter.
The 88-year old monarch did so while opening the science museum’s new Information Age Galleries in London.
The tweet was sent from a large screen in the presence of an audience at the event.
She posted: “It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R.”
