WWE hero, Roderick George Toombs popularly known as Roddy Piper has passed on at the age of 61.
The Canadian wrestler’s agent, Jay Schachter revealed that he died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 30, 2015. He reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
“I am shocked and beyond devastated. He was an amazing man and a true friend He was one of the most generous, sincere and authentic people I have ever known This is a true loss to us all”, Schachter told E!
In 2005, Piper was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Piper who was also an actor and pod cast host, is survived by his wife; Kitty Toombs, daughters; Anastacia, Ariel, and Falon, and son; Colton.
Rest in peace, Roddy Piper! The world can’t be the same without you.
