Senate Clerk, Adedotun Durojaiye Is Dead (PHOTO)

The Acting Clerk of the Senate, Adedotun Durojaiye has died of an undisclosed sickness at an Abuja Hospital.

Sources had revealed that Durojaiye died late on Sunday, November 8, 2015 although there was no official confirmation until Monday, November 9, 2015.

The Lagos-born civil servant was promoted as acting clerk of the senate in April 2014.

Until his death, Durojaiye was in charge of the inauguration of the eighth senate.

He conducted the elections of principal officers on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 which produced Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy Ike Ekweremadu.
