Soldier, 4 Civilians, 2 Attackers Killed As Terrorists Open Fire At Military Checkpoint In Adamawa

Unknown gunmen  have killed one soldier and four civilians in a clash involving soldiers and gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram who opened fire at a military checkpoint in Madagali local government area of Adamawa State.

An eyewitness account said  that the attackers launched sporadic gun fire at a military checkpoint in Sabongari Hyambula of Madagali Local Government on the border between Adamawa and Borno states.

In the crossfire battle which lasted several hours an undisclosed number of civilians were said to have been killed, including a mad woman while two of the attackers were also killed during the gun duel.
