Spirit and Life Devotional is a daily publication by Pastor Chinaemerem Ibezim, senior pastor of Able Ministers Chapel, a church based in Calabar, Cross River State.
Hosea 6:3 NKJV “Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.”
There’s no knowledge greater than the knowledge of God. A man may have all the degrees in the world, but until He knows who God really is, he knows absolutely nothing! A child who has the slightest idea of God is better than a professor with none!
The knowledge of God is life; that’s what Jesus said: “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3. And they that know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). The knowledge of God is a defence; the man who knows God will not be easily deceived; will not be moved.
Don’t be content hearing only about God; don’t be satisfied simply knowing His ways and His power; don’t feel fulfilled knowing just His principles and His laws; get to know Him (The Person)! The more of Him you know, the more of every other thing you’ll know! Grow in the knowledge of God; seek to know more and more of Him, ask Him to reveal Himself to you: if you seek Him you will find Him; He will come to you. Hallelujah!
