Is it not interesting that God Almighty, the Omnipotent One, the One Who neither slumbers nor sleep, took some time off work to rest? I think it is. He worked for six days, and then He rested on the seventh day.
Some people don’t stop; they work Mondays to Saturdays; I’ve met people who work even on Sundays! What a life! There are those who don’t do office work on weekends, but their weekends seem to be even busier than their week days; they are here and there; they find it difficult to stay still for up to four hours; they just don’t rest.
Brothers and sisters, if God rested then we must realize our need for rest. A good rest enhances your productivity and improves your health. Find ways to relax: maybe you find staying at home boring; okay, there are many cool spots where you can go to, or hangout with your family members and friends. You just have to make resting one of your priorities.
