I hope you’re aware that this world is not our permanent abode? Don’t be deceived by anyone, we are just pilgrims and strangers here; we are citizens of heaven and soon we would go there! I don’t know about you, but the thought of going to heaven excites me!
We’re supposed to be more heavenly minded than earthly minded. It’s sad that a lot of us are too busy trying to settle down here and it’s as though we have lost our vision of heaven. Brothers and sisters, heaven must always be in our thoughts; our minds must meditate continually about the things of heaven, and our spirits must never lose contact and connection with heaven.
The Bible says that we are seated together with Christ in heaven! Isn’t that amazing? It certainly is. We can’t continue being carnal; our sights and thoughts must be on heaven more of the time. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration
I have been raised to new life with Christ, therefore I set my sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. From today, I am thinking about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Amen.
