“The Legacy Lives…”: Mo Abudu Leads Nigerian Entertainers To Hold Concert In Honour Of Nelson Mandela

A tribute concert for former South African president, Nelson Mandela entitled “The Legacy Lives… A Tribute Concert” is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 18th 2013 at Oceanview Restaurant, Lagos.

The event which is organised by the chief executive officer of EbonyLife TV Mo’ Abudu will feature leading entertainers such as 2face, Ikechukwu,  Dbanj, Julius Agwu, Timi Dakolo, J. Martins, Waje, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, and many more.

In a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos, Abudu said she was proud to be initiating the event.

“It is one of the least things we can do as Nigerians, Africans and global black citizens of the world to honour a unique, caring ,and very humble global character.

“Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela lives on as a beacon of hope, a true icon of inspiration and a man of extraordinary vision.

“Mandela left a great legacy of humanity that Africans and the rest of the world must strive to aspire to.

“We are indeed very proud to put this together. It is a free concert for the expensive price of liberty paid for by the selfless Madiba,” Abudu  said.
