A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death in Delta state.
The Delta State Police Command confirmed the arrest of Hope David for allegedly stabbing 24-year-old Justice Esiri.
Esiri was killed at about 1pm on Thursday, September 3, 2020 following an altercation with David in Abraka, Ethiope East council area of the state.
Describing incidents that led to the death of Esiri, eyewitnesses say the lovers had a misunderstanding which escalated to a fight. In the heat of the fight, reports say David picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed Esiri.

He was rushed to the General Hospital, Abraka, but unfortunately did not make it. His corpse has since been deposited at a mortuary.
Spokesperson for the command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the death of Esiri on Saturday, September 5, said the suspect, David is in police custody.
A man with Facebook name, Gideon Gsolo mourned the death of Esiri sharing photos of his remains. He also mentioned Esiri is survived by a daughter.
