So when I made an update and tagged on “Kuje Prison”, I was actually at the medium security prisons in Kuje.
After a little bit of protocol, we were able to clear security and see the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh.
I had refrained from changing my profile picture or speaking since his remand in prison custody, but I’d do that right now in solidarity with him.
Believe what you want to believe about him, but he was thrilled to see us. We joked, laughed, gisted and hugged. Olisa is still himself, a jolly good fellow. And his salt and pepper beard? I wished I could have gotten a picture of him today.
Anyway, three things:
1. Viola, they said I ate paper? Tell them o, I did not eat any paper. I don’t know where they got that from. Matter of fact, the last contact I had with those people was the next day after I was arrested when I told them to charge me to court.
2. Confession? Confess what again? These people sef! *laughed* Anyway, the matter is in court. If I speak on it now, it would be subjudice.
3. Please say hello to everyone and tell them to be strong and not to worry about me. I am fine. At least now I qualify to be called a brave man right? Please tell them that God is still God and except He wills it, the truth will come to light and justice will be done on this matter.
No be by mouth, he looked strong, both in will and in form.
I was happy I went to Kuje. I am firm in my convictions to stand with Olisa Metuh as he goes through this ordeal.
If it pains you, please have small patience. The rains will soon start so I can direct you to where a functional transformer is located and you can show it some love.
