138 new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in Nigeria on Sunday, August 30, 2020, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has said.
A breakdown of the new cases across different states in the country is as follows; Plateau-55, Lagos-15, Ebonyi-11, Oyo-11, Abia-8, Anambra-7, FCT-7, Rivers-7, Kaduna-6, Ondo-5, Kwara-3, Bauchi-1, Benue-1, and Edo-1.
The 138 new cases of COVID-19 now brings the total number of confirmed cases to 53,865. 1,013 deaths has been recorded while 41,513 patients have recovered from the virus.
