A 14-year-old boy (name withheld) on Thursday, April 16, 2015 fatally stabbed an 18-year old girl with a pair of scissors over what authorities described as “a minor argument.”
The incident happened in Kofar Gombe Ward in Bauchi State.
The Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, while confirming the incident via a statement issued on Friday, April 17, 2015 posited thus: “On the 16/4/2015 (Thursday) at about 17.45 hours (5.45pm), Police detectives, attached to Township Division, arrested one male, (14) of Kofar Gombe ward in Bauchi State.
“Suspect used scissors and stabbed one Ramatu Aminu, female, (18) of Shekal ward on her neck over minor argument at a bakery.
“She was rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital , Bauchi, for medical attention but later died while receiving treatment.”
