296 new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in Nigeria on Thursday, August 27, 2020, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has said.
A breakdown of the new cases across different states in the country is as follows; Plateau-85, Enugu-46, Oyo-31, Lagos-21, Rivers-20, FCT-15, Kaduna-13, Bauchi-12, Delta-11, Ekiti-11, Akwa Ibom-7, Ebonyi-6, Kwara-5, Ogun-4, Osun-4, Gombe-3, and Niger-2.
The 296 new cases of COVID-19 now brings the total number of confirmed cases to 53,317. 1,011 deaths has been recorded while 40,726 patients have recovered from the virus.
