About 50 innocent bystanders have been killed in cold blood by a group of Fulani herdsmen, where some Internally Displaced Persons were being harboured in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday, May 24, 2015.
The attack lasted for one hour, while they vandalised churches, cars, houses and market places.
Places affected include, Iorza, Faga, Per and Ukura villages within the local government area where the IDPs are taking refuge after they had fled their homes due to the incessant, deadly attacks.
ASP, Austin Ezeani, Spokesperson for the Benue State Police Command confirmed this report though he could not exactly ascertain the exact number of casualties.
