The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Friday, January 1, 2016 gave a couple of prophecies concerning the year 2016.

He made the prophecies known during the annual Cross Over Service at the Redemption Camp in Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Mowe Ogun State.

Among the many declarations, Adeboye stated that a new Sexually Transmitted Disease would emerge, adding that the nation’s economy would also improve.

The cleric also predicted that there would be increased natural disasters as a result of the ungodly laws passed by governments.

He stated that some families will trace the beginning of their generational blessings to the new year, adding that some others will obtain help from unexpected sources.

Adeboye also said that grateful hearts will have more causes to be grateful and the pendulum of life will generally be on the upward swing for many persons.

Additionally, Adeboye said that a chosen few will receive blessings so large they can hardly contain them in 2016.

Concerning Nigeria, he said that things are likely to get tougher before they get better but thing will get better before the year runs out, adding that God would finish what he started last year in 2016 provided we don’t rejoice too soon.

He further stated that natural disasters like flood, fires, earthquakes are likely to get progressively worse, until governments realize that these are part of divine judgement against those who pass ungodly laws.

Adeboye said if the government will repent of disdaining Christ and His Church, He will help them win the fight against terrorism

Among other prophecies, Adeboye said a major war will be averted while a new sexually transmitted disease will surface in 2016.
