The governor, addressing the local residents, stated, “We will like to assure you that very, very soon all these roads will be commissioned for use. The contractor has also told me that you people have been very kind to them, giving them water, giving them drinks and some of you are cooking and bringing to them. This is the way it should be. If you cooperate with the government, the government will cooperate with you.”

In addition to praising the community’s support, Governor Otti emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and sanitary habits, especially once the roads are completed. He announced plans to provide bins for households to facilitate better waste management and promised regular waste collection services.

The Governor further highlighted the strategic importance of Omuma Road, revealing plans for its dualization and linking to Old Express Road, Cemetery, and Osusu roads. He noted that work on this road would accelerate once the relocation of the electricity line was completed.
