Abia Gov’t Extends Curfew To More LGAs

Abia state government has extended the curfew imposed on Aba and Umuahia to also cover Ohafia and Arochukwu.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief of Staff to the governor, ACB Agbazuere on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

The curfew which was initially between 10pm and 6am now takes effect from 8pm to 6am daily.

The curfew was imposed after a Security Council meeting of the State chaired by the governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, today.

All citizens and visitors to the State were advised to stay indoors during the period of the curfew which lasts until further notice.
