A politician (names withheld) in Karu Area of Abuja is now on the run after police detectives discovered 10 Golf cars in his possession, Daily Newswatch reports.
According to the source, the 10 Golf cars were parked in the politician’s compound in Karu, which is a town after Nyanya, where major terrorists attacks were carried out in April and May 2014.
The FCT police commissioner, Mr. Mbu T. Mbu, while speaking with newsmen said: “We have 10 Golf vehicles bought by a politician. When we got the report, we waited for him; he is on the run now. We have recovered the Golf vehicles; the politician is from Borno State; only God knows what he wants to do with them.”
He urged Abuja residents to be vigilant and be more security conscious. He encouraged the residents to call Police hot lines or his direct line 09032424747 to report suspicious movements.
