According to reports in the English media, Arsenal Football Club are weighing the option of making a move for in-form Watford striker, Odion Ighalo.

The Nigerian has scored 14 goals in 20 appearances for the Hornets in the current premier league season. The 26-year-old has been one of the best and most consistent performers so far in the 2015/2016 premier league season and is a subject of interest for a couple of clubs.

Arsenal were reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but the player shut down a possible move to the Emirates after receiving the African footballer of the year award in Abuja, Nigeria.

The Gunners appear to have now turned their sights to another African striker in the person of Odion Ighalo although no official bid or contact has been made.
