Mr. Obedient Emoto, 59,a member of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, who represented Ogbia Constituency II in Ogbia Local Government Area, has passed away.
Emoto who served under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at a hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, after some health complications.
The sad occurrence was made known through the former Acting Governor of the state, Chief Nestor Binabo, who is also a close friend of the deceased.
Binabo described the late lawmaker as a man of exemplary character while some of his constituents similarly stated that Emoto was selfless and honest.
