Boko Haram Invaded Village And Kills 21 People In Yobe

A group of assailants believed to be loyal to the Boko Haram Islamist extremists have shot about 21 persons dead in Yobe State.

According to a local official and relative of one of the victims, they were trying to return home to recover abandoned food supplies before the incident happened.

An official with the Gujba Local Government of the state, Baba Nuhu, said, “The men, 21 of them, were stopped at Bultaram (village) by gunmen we believe are Boko Haram who shot them dead.”

Nuhu and Haruna Malam, the brother of one of the victims, made this disclosure to AFP on Monday, April 27, 2015 in Damaturu, the state capital, where many Gujba residents have fled to seek refuge from Boko Haram violence.
