Boko Haram Takes Adamawa Towns Hostage, Mounts Flags

Members of the Islamist extremist group,  Boko Haram have on Saturday, August23, 2014 taken hostages of some  bordering  communities of Adamawa State.

Speaking to journalists in Yola, an eyewitness in the affected  areas said that the terrorists have mounted their  flags and taken full possession of the areas.

The eyewitness said the affected communities are located in Madagali town in Adamawa which he said was about 20 kilometres from  Gwoza town of Borno state,  the stronghold of the Boko Haram sect.
