Heritage bank on Monday, June 21, 2021 stormed the residence of Senator Andy Uba in Abuja demanding payment of loans he received from the bank.
The bank disclosed Uba, who was elected into Nigeria’s senate in 2011, has been owing the bank for many years with no effort to repay the loans.
Heritage Bank staff, who were seen carrying placards outside the senators home, revealed that the loan repayment is essential to sustain their jobs.
They cried out that they cannot afford to lose their jobs at the present economic situation of the bank.
