Residents of Aba, the commercial town in Abia State have reported heavy gunshots in town.
According to reports, residents were going about their normal activities on Thursday, April 8, 2021 when sounds of gunshots blazed across the town.
Reports say gunmen attacked the police area command with heavy ammunition
It was further learnt that all roads around the police command have been barricaded and residents have been ordered back to their houses.
A top police source told the publication that security operatives got intelligence that the gunmen that unleashed terror on security formations in Imo State are currently on their way to Aba Area Command.
