Ibrahim Lamorde, the chairman of the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Â was on Monday, November 9, 2015 sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Lamrde who has been at the helms of affairs of the commission since 2011 was replaced by Ibrahim Magu, a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC.
The development was divulged through a a presidential source, who disclosed that Lamorde came to the Presidential Villa, where he allegedly held a last meeting with Buhari, according to Channels.
Although the source said the reason for Lamorde’s sack has not been stated.
