BREAKING NEWS: Emir Of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Iliyasu Is Dead

The traditional ruler of Gwandu in Kebbi State, Emir Muhammad Bashir Iliyasu, is dead.

Leadership, broke the news in the evening of Friday, October 30, 2015.

Alhaji Iliyasu, replaced the former Emir, Alhaji Al-Mustapha Muhammadu Jokolo, who is still seeking a reinstatement at the state high court after he was deposed by the governor on June 3, 2005.

Details of the monarch’s death still appear sketchy as at the time of filing this report.
