Former Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, has joined the Labour Party, LP, two days after he resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
This was announced by the Labour Party on Friday, May 27, 2022. The party disclosed Obi will rejoin the presidential race on its platform.
A tweet this afternoon from @Official_LPN said:
“As earlier reported, H.E Peter Obi Joins Labour Party of Nigeria, @PeterObi registered as a member of the party on Friday in his ward in Anambra State. He is expected to pick the presidential form and contest the party’s presidential primary election next Tuesday.”
