A suspected car thief had sprayed black paint all over his face in a bid to evade police arrest but unfortunately for him, it failed.
23-year-old Jose Espinoza, was arrested by Police operatives in Madera, California,after he stole a car parked near his home.

According to the Huffington Post, Espinoza returned to his house a little while later, but this time his face was covered in black spray paint in an attempt to disguise himself.
Madera Police spokesman, Josiah Arnold, said, “He spray-painted his face black and attempted to hide against a white wall in the home’s yard.”
The police recovered a bottle of spray paint at the suspect’s house.
Espinoza was charged with receiving known stolen property, and theft and unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle.
He was set on a bail of $35,000.
Espinoza was booked at Madera County Jail pending on when he meets the condition of his bail.
