SAD: Chelsea Fan Dies After Lampard Equalizes For Man. City (PICTURED)

A Ugandan footballer and Chelsea football club supporter, Fahad Musana is said to have collapsed and died after former Chelsea striker, Frank Lampard equalized for new club Manchester City against his former side late in a Barclays Premier League Game at the Etihad  Stadium, according to a report by Super Sport.

Musana’s death on Sunday, September 21, 2014 has shocked his teammates and coach at Ugandan Premier League (UPL) club side, Simba as he had played for them in their 1-0 win over Entebbe FC on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Nakivobo Stadium.

His coach of Simba, Fred Kajoba disclosed that the player even trained with them the same day he died. He said “We trained with him at Bombo and there was no problem with him whatsoever, I’m still in shock.”

The Federation of Ugandan Football Associations(FUFA) via a statement posted on their website said: “Fufa is in shock after receiving news about the sudden death of Simba FC player Musana Fahad in Bombo this evening (Sunday, September 21, 2014). The body is currently at the Bombo Barracks Hospital. Burial arrangements will be communicated later”

Eye witnesses at the local video hall where Musa was watching the game say he was in high spirits until Lampard equalised and he suddenly fainted and had to be rushed to Bombo military hospital which was close by, although he gave up the ghost befor ethey couild get to the hospital.
