A DNA test recently conducted on the five children of the afrojuju singer, Femi Kuti revealed that two of them, Dupe Kuti and Tosin Kuti from his current wife, Bisi Ajala are from another man.
Kuti, son of the legendary Afrobeat musician, Fela Kuti in reaction simply took the two children back to their biological fathers.
Kuti’s ex-wife, Funke, gave birth to his first male child named Made Kuti. While Ayomide and one other child that the DNA test also proved not to be his were from Ajala.
Expressing his disappointment on the development, aggrieved Kuti said, “I did a DNA test and was told two of the children are not mine. The first two (after Made), a boy and a girl. It is very serious. I never knew somebody could give you what is not yours. I’ve three boys now. I can’t father children I was tricked to believe I am their father.”
The singer has not commented on what effect this revelation will have on their marriage.
