Arsenal forward Yaya Sanogo has joined Ajax on a season-long loan deal. A statement on the official twitter handle of the club confirmed.

Sanogo spent the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace but will now spend the entire 2015-16 campaign at the Amsterdam Arena.
The French U-21 international has struggled to get regular first team appearance since joining Arsenal in 2013. Reports suggest Arsene Wenger will be handing Nigerian young star Chuba Akpom first-team opportunities which means that Yaya is likely to fall further down the pecking order.
Wenger said; “He needs to play,”
“He came to us injured and it took us a while to get him to the top level. He’s ready to play now and I’m sure he can be a good signing for Ajax.
“He has an opportunity to play in the Champions League with Ajax, which is good experience. We have a good relationship with them and hopefully he can have a great season.”
