The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has called off its five-month old strike.
The strike which began on June 28th 2013 that kept students and lectures idle for months has come to an end.
News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the union announced the end of the strike in Minna, Niger state, after its National Executive Committee agreed on new funding terms with the Nigerian government.
University lecturers are therefore directed to resume work immediately and urges the Federal Government to implement their December 11 resolutions.
