The deceased who hails from Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State was said to have been clubbed to death on Sunday, May 3, 2015 by her teenage house boy whose identity is yet to be released.

Elue popularly known by neighbours as Nwanyi Maluogo was an academic staff of the Federal Government College, Enugu‎ State before her tragic demise.

The house boy, according to sources, is a close relation of the deceased.

Police revealed that the suspect who concealed the murder for 4 days confessed to have killed the victim with a pestle during a disagreement on the fateful day.

Confirming the incident, the state police spokesperson, Ebere Amaraizu disclosed that the lid was blown open in the morning of Wednesday, May 6, 2015 when the suspect went to a widow’s flat in the same compound and attempted to rape her.

According to The Nation, he had gone to the widow demanding N2000 from her but before the widow could reply him, he pounced on her and was stripping her naked when the alarm raised by the widow attracted the attention of the caretaker of the compound.

It was gathered that the caretaker rescued the woman from the boy’s grasp and dealt him several blows while the widow hit him with a pestle.
