There are speculations making waves that Apple Inc company might be making preparations to launch the iRing.
The iRing would be worn exactly the same way rings are worn on the fingers just that this time, the ring would function as a phone.
According to Metro UK, the company has been granted a patent for the design that could see you taking pictures, sending messages and finding your way round with the tiny piece of kit.
The device will comprise of voice recognition which would aid the users to send text messages.
Additionally, the gadget will include technology to digitally record notes taken by hand.
The patent said: “The use of touch-sensitive surfaces as input devices for computers and other devices has increased significantly in recent years.
“A user controls an external electronic device with a finger ring-mounted touchscreen that includes a computer processor, wireless transceiver, and rechargeable power source.
The ring is worn on a first finger and receives an input from a second finger.”
