Gordon Obua, the Chief Security Officer to former President Goodluck Jonathan who was arrested and detained by the DSS on the orders of President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, July 16, 2015 and released 6 days after without charges being brought against him is critically ill and had been admitted at the National hospital for ailments that are connected with the trauma of his detention experience.

Since his release, Gordon Obua had continued to suffer both physically and mentally and according to a close family source that spoke with us, he had been in great pain since the day he returned home. His abdomen was swollen and he had great difficulty moving around, according to our source his family is already making arrangement to fly him overseas for a more accurate evaluation and treatment as advised by his family physician.

The former CSO of President Jonathan, Gordon Obua who was denied access to his lawyer, his family, his doctors and his hypertension drugs during his confinement, was said to be detained as one of the first exercises in a massive crackdown that seem to be vendetta driven by the Buhari government on officials who served under the administration and close aids of president Goodluck Jonathan.
