A taxi driver had attracted the wrath of a vigilante group who beat him to near death after he was caught breaking into a house to steal some parts of the car of his victim.
According to OMG Ghana reports, the suspect who said he was a taxi driver, was said to have broken into the house of one of the residents in Awoshie Anyaa area in, Accra, Ghana
The man, however raised an alarm which attracted the attention of the vigilante group in the area.
The local vigilante in the area quickly mobilised and got him arrested after which they beat him blue black and subsequently hanged him to a tree.
But for the timely intervention of some residents, the thief would have been burnt to death by the irked group.
