“We can’t risk the life of pilots and crew,” the minister said, adding that the Southern Indian Ocean was dangerous and they faced extremely difficult weather conditions.

Malaysian PM Najib Razak yesterday said that the missing jet with 239 people on board, including 5 Indians, crashed in the southern Indian Ocean with no survivors, citing new satellite data.

“With deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean,” a grim-faced Najib said.
