The Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, on Friday, June 5, 2015 appointed a new Media aide in the person of Alhaji Tukur Ahmed, a veteran journalist , who becomes his Chief Press Secretary.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, she stated that the appointment commences with immediate effect.
The new Chief Press Secretary was urged to use his position to project the government and the people of his state.
“Your track record, dedication and sincerity has earned you this appointment,” the statement said.
Al-Makura is a Post Graduate Diploma holder in Mass Communication from Benue State University, Makurdi.
