The Nigerian army on Monday, September 14, 2015 raided camps belonging to Boko Haram insurgents along Banki, Kumshe and Bama axis of Borno State.
The Nigerian soldiers were said to have cleared the camps in Bolungu, Bula Doye and Cheehi Dare. The also secured an important bridge linking Miyanti and Banki.
Women and children who were kidnapped by the sect members were also rescued during the operation.
