The Nigerian troops are currently repelling attacks by terrorists around Maiduguri and Mongunu, Borno State.
PRNigeria has gathered that several attempts by terrorists to attack and takeover the towns in the past had been successfully repelled through intelligence gathering and pre-emptive strikes by the troops.
