Technology might be headed to a different and somewhat scary dimension as a new umbilical cord phone charger which makes an awkward movement while charging a phone could possibly emerge sooner than practicable.
You may be propelled to agree less that the bizarre phone charger tagged ‘the creepiest phone charger ever seen’ is actually creepy in every sense of the word.
A video of the umbilical cord was posted to YouTube over the weekend with a note from the anonymous poster to say it doesn’t yet exist, but, “I’m hoping that by sharing this video someone will make the iPhone Umbilical Cord Charger and other creepy phone chargers.”
According to Metro UK, it’s actually called the Grow Cable and the person who, err, gave birth to the Frankenphone charger is Japanese artist Iizawa Mio.
She said, “I specialize in pieces that look and feel realistic (some might say “grotesque.”) But I’m sure you’ll find something unique and cute about each of them.’
The lifelike umbilical cord charger, which moves continuously while charging, is intended to be a commentary about our over-dependency on modern technology.
We don’t know about that, but at least you can be sure none of your colleagues will borrow your charger without asking again.
