Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo is set to keep up his impressive form for English premier league new boys, Watford.
The 26-year-old who made a huge contribution towards the club’s gaining of promotion last season has signed a new five-year deal.
Ighalo was released by Udinese in 2014 and signed a permanent deal with Watford that October. In the 2014/2015 season, Ighalo found the back of the net 20 times for Watford and that went a long way in helping the club gain promotion from the championship.
Speaking after putting pen to paper for a new deal, the 26-year-old said:
“I’m grateful for this deal, and I’m very happy to be here
“I’ve worked hard to get here. We’ve been negotiating for a while now, so I’m glad we have come to a conclusion which means I can now continue to focus on playing this season.”
