The nominees for the 2015 edition of the prestigious Headies Awards have been unveiled.
The award ceremony which is in it’s 10th year holds so much promise for Nigerian rapper, Olamide who has about eight nominations to his credit. Some of the categories he has been nominated in include: Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (for two songs), Best Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Nigerian music export, Wizkid has seven nominations in categories such as Recording of the Year, Best R&B/Pop Album, Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year, and Song of the Year.
Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, and P-Square will battle for artiste of the year.
The Next Rated category has young heavyweights such as Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh.
