Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister, on Saturday, October 28, 2017 took on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over remarks the former made concerning alleged movement of funds in the last days of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Chief Fani-Kayode took to microblogging website, Twitter, to say that Professor Osinbajo “has turned himself into a pernicious and unrepentant liar and a peddler of falsehood just for a tiny morsel at Buhari’s table”.
“According to @ProfOsinbajo, @GEJonathan ‘doled out 100 billion naira and $295 million in 2 weeks just before the 2015 elections’.
“This is false.The VP has turned himself into a pernicious and unrepentant liar and a peddler of falsehood just for a tiny morsel at Buhari’s table,” he said in his tweet.

The leading opposition voice in Nigeria also called on Buba Galadima and Hameed Ali, Buhari’s comptroller-general of the Nigeria Customs Service, to compel the ailing President Muhammadu Buhari to resign and return to his hometown of Daura and stop doing more damage to Nigeria.
“‘Buhari’s government has derailed’ – Hameed Ali. ‘Buhari’s government is run by mere propaganda’ – Buba Galadima. These two men are Buhari’s oldest and closest friends. Even they are fed up,” Fani-Kayode said.
“They should tell their friend to resign and go back to Daura before he does more damage to Nigeria.”
