Paris Saint Germain Signs Super Falcons Defender, Ngozi Ebere

The Paris Saint-Germain Women’s team have signed 24-year old Nigerian international. Ngozi Ebere on a two-year deal.

The Super Falcons star joins the French side from Rivers Angel. Ngozi was part of the Nigeria women’s national football team squads at the African Women’s Championship in 2012 and also the winning team of 2014. She was also part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

Speaking about the 5ft 9in Nigerian defender, Paris coach Farid Benstiti said:

“Ebere is a Nigerian left-back. She will offer another option to Laure Boulleau, who has played a lot of football in recent seasons. She has a huge potential and plenty of qualities that she showed during the World Cup. She will need a certain time to adapt, but her quality will see her ready very quickly.”

An elated Ngozi Ebere also spoke about the deal after putting pen to paper.

 “I’m here to give my very best and win trophies. I am very motivated by this new challenge here in Paris. This is a dream come true,” she said.
