President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Imo State to commission key projects in the state.
He landed at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the state capital at about 10am on Thursday, September 9, 2021..
Buhari was received by the state Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had declared a sit-at-home over Buhari’s visit, saying that the president is not welcome to the state.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had said the president was visiting Imo to mock people of the state.
