President Jonathan Visits Asaba On A 2-Day Working Visit (PHOTOS)

President Goodluck Jonathan arrived Asaba, Delta State on Friday, February 27, 2015 for strategic meetings with opinion leaders and groups in continuation of his campaign for the March 28 presidential election.

He was received at the Asaba International Airport by the governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial candidate in the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and other top party dignitaries.

President Jonathan met with the royal fathers in the state at the palace of the Asagba of Asaba, Prof Chike Edozien.

The president is expected to engage the Hausa community in Asaba tomorrow. The visit will afford him the opportunity to sort out touchy matters with some aggrieved persons and groups.
