Alhaja Jelilat Arisekola-Alao
Barely two weeks after the death of billionaire, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao, his wife, Alhaja Jelilat Arisekola-Alao has died in a ghastly motor accident along the Ibadan-Ilorin Road.
Alao, a textile merchant, died in a fatal auto crash on her way back to Ibadan from Ilorin, Kwara State on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was rushed to the hospital where she gave up because of shock, the doctors say.
She was last seen by a neighbour in Ibadan on Monday afternoon, just before she embarked on the fatal journey.
Alao had had two children for the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, she was his senior wife who had been separated from the business mogul for two decades as a result of irreconcilable differences.
Both children of the deceased are Abdulahi and Fatimah. They are presently among the children mourning the departure of their father who died in his sleep penultimate Wednesday at his London residence at the age of 69.
The deceased was buried in accordance with Islamic rites at her Apata residence in Ibadan on Wednesday. She was aged 63.
